Terms of Use

Version 2026-07-18 · Effective July 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Tap to Pray. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.

Purpose of the service

Tap to Pray helps adults send a private signal that they would like prayer and lets another community member respond. It is not affiliated with a denomination, and it does not guarantee that a request will be accepted or that any particular outcome will occur.

Not an emergency or professional service

The service is not emergency response, crisis counseling, medical care, mental health care, legal advice, or another professional service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger in the United States, call 911. For emotional distress or a mental health crisis in the United States, call or text 988 or use 988lifeline.org. Outside the United States, contact local emergency or crisis services.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others, harass or threaten people, attempt to identify or contact members outside the service, interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, evade limits, or use the service for unlawful, commercial, or misleading purposes. Display names must be respectful and may be removed if they put others at risk.

Notifications and availability

Push and email delivery can be delayed or fail because of browser, network, device, or provider conditions. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts to protect members or the service.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or results from prayer or community participation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not fully apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss arising from reliance on the service. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived.

Termination, changes, and law

You may stop using the service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend access for a Terms violation or safety risk. We may update these Terms and will post the new version and effective date. Governing-law, venue, dispute-resolution, and any mandatory state notices must be completed by qualified U.S. counsel before production launch.
